New York Daily News: Kolme sisarusta meni viime viikolla Broadwaylle katsomaan teatteriesitystä - musikaalia Chigago. Esityksen toisen osan loppupuolella yksi sisaruksista huomasi useita punkkeja vaatteissaan. He kutsuivat paikalle teatterin henkilökuntaan kuuluvan avustajan joka kutsui paikalle johtajan. Teatterin johtaja ei uskonut punkkiasiaan sillä hän ei ollut koskaan nähnyt punkkeja New Yorkissa. Sisarukset ottivat yhden punkeista talteen muovipussiin.

Three Mississippi sisters claim their night at a Broadway show turned into an attack of the ticks last week. Lula Green and her sisters, Dannie Eubanks and Iris Blakney, said they paid $111 each to see the hit musical "Chicago" in the Ambassador Theater on W. 49th St. Thursday night.
But before the end of the second act, they say, they were forced to flee after Dannie noticed three bloodsucking ticks on her.
"We had to get up and leave - we weren't going to sit there in the ticks," said Green, a retired schoolteacher from Lucedale, Miss. "My sister was scared they might be in her clothes."
Green said the three left their orchestra seats 0112, 0113 and 0114, and went into the lighted hallway, where they found more ticks crawling on Eubanks' shirt.
The sisters claim they complained to a theater usher, who saw the ticks on Eubanks and went to get the manager, but the manager refused to acknowledge the infestation.
"She said, 'We don't have ticks here. I never heard of a tick living in New York,'" Green said.
"Well, we ain't stupid," Green said. "We're from Mississippi and we know what ticks are."
Representatives of the Schubert Organization, which owns the theater, did not return calls.
After a sleepless night, the sisters returned to Mississippi, where Green spoke by phone to the Daily News.
"We saved one of those ticks, we have it in a plastic bag," Green said. "What we would like is to have our money back.
"I would never go back into the Ambassador Theater," she said. "I think the Health Department needs to go over there and do something about it, because they have bugs in there."
