You know I really hate it when people start yacking on about the overuse of antibiotics when in truth most people get their exposures from the agriculture industry and low levels of antibiotics used in animal feeds that get into the meat we eat. This process has been shown for years to aid in the development of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria yet the FDA allows this continue so that more animals can be grown faster and bigger in smaller conditions and dirty conditions. The FDA turns their heads to this because of $$$$. I do agree that prudent use of medicines is important but why do we not deal with the real problems and keep the meds for people that really need them instead of continuing a harmful practice and blamimg it on doctors right off the bat. Just sharing my thoughts.
