The following is the testimony of a patient in the Samento study with Lyme
patients.-----------------------------------------------------------------------\

I was privileged to be one of the participants in
the "Pilot Study of Pentacyclic Alkaloid-Chemotype of Uncaria
tomentosa for the Treatment of Lyme Disease" presented below.

I was part of the experimental group, and received the alternative,
or "complementary," therapies for the treatment of Lyme disease
described in this document. My husband was part of the control group,
and continued to receive conventional treatment for Lyme disease
during the course of this study. Study participants were evaluated
individually before the study, our therapy program was highly
individualized, and our progress was monitored and charted weekly by
a team of specialists, and altered as necessary.

All of us in the experimental group improved dramatically under this unique
Lyme-treatment regimen, as the study results will illustrate. As a brief
example of these improvements, I had used a cane since
1995 and have not needed it at all since the second week of the study

Although still variable from day to day, I have also
experienced noticeable neurological and cognitive improvements. The
meticulously detailed charts included with this document will
demonstrate all the areas of improvement for each study participant.

The study was truly an eye-opening experience into a whole new
approach to wellness and healing. One of the most surprising aspects
of the program was realizing how following a diet tailored to your
blood type can enhance your body's overall functioning and help it to
fight disease.

It is my sincere hope that the methodologies used in this study (and
the results) will be carefully reviewed by Lyme-treating physicians
and will be employed as another tool to help Lyme patients
everywhere.
