Mikäli jotakuta kiinnostaisi saada tietoa/varmistusta mahdollisesta borreliatartunnastaan, näytteen voi lähettää myös Bowenin laboratorioon Amerikkaan. He testaavat borrelioosin lisäksi babesian ja ehrlichian.

Tiedän joitakin eurooppalaisia jotka ovat lähettäneet näytteensä em. laboratorioon. He ovat saaneet tulosten mukana mm. valokuvia näytteissään esiintyneistä bakteereista. Seuraava viesti täytyy antaa hoitavalle lääkärille, jonka tulee ottaa ensin yhteyttä Boweniin - alla puhelinnumero + faksi. Laboratorio selvittää hoitavalle lääkärille minkälaisesta testistä on kyse. Sen jälkeen he lähettävät tarkemman selonteon testin suorittamisesta ja lähettämisestä heille. Bowenin hinta on 250$.

First you need your referring physician

to call our lab at 727-937-9077

or

fax over to us at 727-942-9687 on there letterhead to become established with us prior to sending in any specimens.

This process should only take 2-3 minutes of there time. Once they are established with us we will then fax them a physician protocol that explains our research test and also includes all the paperwork for the patient to fill out and send in with there blood specimen. The donation is $250.00 for our test. It is tax deductible. We test for Borrelia burgdorferi and two co-infections Babesia and Ehrlichia.
